The Chairman of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, hosted a representative of the Pan-Albanian Federation "Vatra" in the USA.

In a post on social networks, Meta writes that during the discussion with them they shared ideas about the importance of strengthening relations between Albania and the diaspora in the USA, in order to be more active participants and decision-makers in the country's developments.

"Happy to welcome today in a fraternal meeting a representative of the Pan-Albanian Federation "Vatra", Mr. Mondi Rakaj, Mr. Tasim Ruko and Mr. Mersin Gjini, whom I thanked once again for the very warm welcome in New York where we celebrated together the 110th anniversary of its foundation.

Acknowledgment of the tireless commitment and centuries-old efforts of the countrymen to save the Albanian nation, protect and promote our European national identity, enable the independence of Albania and Kosovo, as well as speed up our democratization and integration processes.

We shared many precious ideas about the importance of strengthening relations between Albania and our diaspora in the USA, to be much more active and decision-making participants in the developments of our country" , writes Meta.
