The head of the Infectious Diseases Hospital, Najada Çomo, denounced today a 32-year-old woman from Berat that she had threatened her over the phone.

The calls had started since January 28 and had not stopped, prompting the doctor to take the matter to the police.

"On 15.02.2021, the materials were referred to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance Tirana, for the citizen M. Ç., (S), 32 years old, resident in Berat, because from 28.01.2021 onwards, he has worried with numerous phone calls, the citizen N. Ç ”, the  police announces.

But in her testimony to the police, it is learned that the 32-year-old has denied that she intended to harass the Chief of Infectious Diseases on the phone, stating that she wanted to call someone else, but had confused the number. The young woman has said that she does not know Çomon and her concern has nothing to do with the doctor.
