The prosecution sends Prince Leka, Elia Zaharia and her father to trial!

The Prosecutor's Office of Tirana has closed the investigations and has sent Prince Leka, the ex-wife of Elia Zaharia and her father, Gjergj Zaharia, to trial for the charge of domestic violence.

Meanwhile, the couple, parents of a daughter, formalized their divorce on April 25 after the Court decided to dissolve the marriage between Leka Zogu and the well-known actress.

According to the Court's decision, treason was not the last reason for the well-known couple's marriage, as it was alluded to after Prince Leka's romance with the photographer Blerta Celibashi, with whom he started living together, became public.

Elia Zaharia and Princ Leka have separated due to constant conflicts, lack of communication and interruption of coexistence, facts accepted by the actress as well as the 42-year-old

Also in this decision, it was determined that the actress will no longer bear the surname Zogu, but will return to her maiden name, Zaharia.

From the divorce agreement, the actress benefited from a 257 m2 apartment, which is in her daughter's name. While the artist will have full ownership of a 134 m2 shop and a 47 m2 parking lot.

But based on an agreement that the former couple reached on January 15, 2024, if Elia Zaharia marries again or starts a cohabitation, he will lose the rights to the properties when their daughter Geraldina will be of age.

The decision also states that the actress will no longer bear the surname "Zogu", but her maiden name "Zaharia".

The agreement signed between them also defines the meetings that Prince Leka will have with Geraldine, where according to the agreement the girl will meet with her father for 2 hours every day and will go to his house on weekends.

According to the agreement, Prince Leka will pay 1,000 euros monthly as alimony towards the daughter, an amount which includes expenses for the child's daily needs and will be paid into the Mother's bank account.
