Bahrije Gjuni, the grandmother of the 3-year-old in Durrës, has been arrested by the police.

Gjuni stated to the police that she did not intend to harm her grandson, but wanted to raise him by herself since he is the child of her deceased son.

"I love that I have a son. I don't hurt them! It is the boy's child. We wanted to raise him, not his mother's family. They wouldn't let us raise it, so we took it. We love our grandson very much. I have not committed a crime. I want to raise my grandson because our son died in an accident", she is said to have said.
