The Ambassador of the European Union Luigi Soreca has held an online meeting with the head of the Central Election Commission, Ilirjan Celibashi.

Through a post on Twitter, Soreca suggests that the focus of discussions was the renewal of biometric documents, according to which it is a big challenge.

The European top diplomat called on citizens to renew their ID cards without wasting time, in order to have the opportunity to vote in the April 25 elections.

Earlier, it was US Ambassador Yuri Kim who appealed to Albanians to renew their identification documents.
