Touching video! The Albanian mother finds her son in Greece after 20 years

A man named Petro, who lives in Athens and claims to have lost his memory, seems to have finally found his biological family.

Known as Petros Koutsoukis in Greece, he has attracted the attention of local media after declaring that he does not remember anything from the past and does not know who he is or where he comes from.

Initially, the authorities wanted him as a Greek citizen, but later some people who had worked with him gave information that he is of Albanian origin and had immigrated to Greece about 20 years ago.

An elderly woman from Albania, who is believed to be his mother, arrived in Athens today. She will provide a DNA sample to confirm if Petro is really her son.

In a touching scene published by the Greek media, the Albanian woman is seen hugging and kissing the man, whom she says is her son, as she "recognized him immediately".

According to Petros' testimony, he suffers from autobiographical amnesia and has no memories of his childhood except for a few faint images.

The mother, who had come to Athens accompanied by another son of hers, is convinced that Petro is her long-lost son, although Petro does not recognize him or his possible brother. However, he has agreed to wait for the result of the DNA test to confirm the identity.

"I am a mother of four children and I live in Këlcyre, Albania. Petriti, my son, left for Greece in 1990. We kept in touch until 1995, when he sent me letters from Kalamata. After that, the connections were cut off, and only through some fellow villagers did I find out that he was in Ekali," the woman told the Greek authorities.

She said that when the other boy met him and said "Petri", Petro denied it was him and stated that he did not know them. However, when she saw him on TV, she recognized him immediately and is certain that he is her lost son.
