Murder of Kristjan Marku, suspicions that the perpetrators have fled to Kosovo

New details have emerged from the investigation into the murder of Kristian Mark.

Police suspect that the perpetrators of the 30-year-old's murder may have fled abroad. Investigators have requested information from Interpol regarding the person suspected of being involved in the murder.

One of the countries that is being worked with to identify the perpetrators or persons who may be involved is Kosovo. Albanian police are working with Kosovar authorities, but information has also been requested from other countries through Interpol.

It is suspected that the perpetrators were in two vehicles, one of which pursued Mark, served to execute the 30-year-old, and was then burned, while a second vehicle is suspected by investigators to have been moving from Fier to Vlora and picked up the perpetrators after they burned the car.

Police suspect that the pursuit of Kristian Mark's car began near the Levan roundabout, and was later executed near the Novosela underpass.

The victim left Tirana on the night of the incident, in a car that was not his but had been rented for several days. This raises suspicions that Marku was followed by the perpetrators.
