NIPH tests citizens in “Zahir Pajaziti” square in Prishtina

The National Institute of Public Health in Kosovo has announced that today and tomorrow tests will be performed for Covid-19 in "Zahir Pajaziti" Square. Testing will take place from 09:30 to 13:00, reports Express.

Through an announcement on the official website, the Institute has announced that the sampling procedure will be done according to the protocols of NIPHK by teams which take samples regularly in NIPHK and in the field in various institutions according to epidemiological indications.

The National Institute of Public Health, despite the epidemiological situation which in recent days has marked a decrease in cases is continuing with the testing and awareness of citizens in preventing COVID-19.

NIPHK teams are continuing epidemiological investigation and case tracking across the country.

NIPHK Task Team has organized additional tests in the square "Zahir Pajaziti":

1. Testing is done from 9.30 to 13.00 on 29 and 30 December 2020;

2. Sampling of the nose and throat, on a voluntary basis for citizens wishing to be tested by RT-PCR;

3. The sampling procedure is done according to the protocols of the NIPHK by experienced teams which take samples regularly in the NIPHK and in the field in various institutions according to epidemiological indications.

Given the importance of sampling for screening cases who have no signs of disease. NIPHK appeals to all citizens to come and be tested in SARS-CoV-2, also informing you that testing continues in NIPHK and all regional Public Health Centers in Kosovo.
