Albanian mother of love

Albanian mother of love

Ndue Ukaj

In human history there are philosophers who have given transcendent thoughts about man and his existence, scientists who have made astonishing discoveries and determined the directions of development on Earth, artists who have created amazing and immortal works, colossal writers who have known masters of researching human existence and writing about the beauty or sorrow of life, titanic heroes and leaders who have fought great political and military battles.

Humanity knows Plato and Aristotle, Homer and Virgil, Dante and Shakespeare, Goethe and Balzac, Dostoevsky and Muxart, and knows many, many others who, with their amazing works, have made the world more beautiful, clearer and more understandable.

But it is difficult to find a second case in the world - that a man, a woman - yes A Woman has appropriated the heart of humanity and been baptized with the sweetest name: mother.

This is Mother Teresa, unique, who, as the writer Visar Zhiti asserts, as it seemed, seated Christ on earth. Yes - as Zhiti writes "as God seemed to feel the need for Christ's sojourn on earth, we like to think, and chose a woman for equality."

Yes, the young Gonxha who says a sad farewell to Mother Drane in Skopje, through the strong waves of life, in the century of strong ideological upheavals, of wars and merciless clashes, in the century of savagery, returns to the Mother of all mankind ; mother for all nations, languages, religions, social classes.

The mother of love - so appreciated by Don Lush Gjergji, her most prominent biographer and the most meritorious author why today she is known worldwide as an Albanian, Gonxja of Prizren, Skopje, Gjakova, Shkodra - a fine woman with a big heart - throughout her earthly life she built an endless empire of love for man, where she made the borders and differences negligible.

And today, for the Albanian people, she is the guardian angel and one of the most sublime values, which is already engraved in our national and universal history.

By praying, acting and seeing Jesus in every human being, Mother Teresa left a magnificent testament of love; taught us to love life, as it is, completely, without claims, as she did daily, with hungry, abandoned, abandoned people, and with them she created a symphony of hope, a hymn of love and human solidarity.

And indeed it seemed as if the world hungered for such things and for such a Woman, for such a school, for such a teaching, for the coming of Christ and his incarnation in a woman, to show the world that love it is the most sublime value that we have and that with it we can change the world for the better, we can soften pains and increase the limits of joy.

The Albanian mother of love engraved the Albanian name in golden letters on the pages of human history, affirming it herself, on the occasion of receiving the Nobel Peace Prize, when she said: "I am Albanian by blood." And these words sounded like bells warning of a birth and a great mass of love.

She has shown with acts of peace and love that light always overcomes darkness, just as good overcomes evil.

She cured the evil only with love and compassion, therefore today she is the most exemplary personality of our time, mother and saint of love and humanity.

Our Gonxha is a beautiful flower in our national garden and the most noble and sublime pillar of our national identity, a stone of inspiration for today and tomorrow.

Her school is enlightening and a rich legacy of love that has infinite capacities to heal the wounds of humanity and our nation, those wounds of the past, of impatience, contempt for others, hatred and separation.

It is up to us - like few - to become students of this school, quench the thirst in this living itch and get energy for our own good and that of humanity.

Her simple and very significant advices are nourishing treasures for the human heart and mind, every time and at any time, because they come from a big heart with strong experiences, which had room for all the pains and joys of the world.
Here is one of them:
"Don't tell me there is war in the world. Don't
tell me people are
starving. Don't tell
me people are killed by hate. Don't
tell me that people stutter
and chase each other, but just tell me: What do you do?'

Mother Teresa as a young girl had felt a call and was guided by a heavenly star, similar to those scholars in the biblical stories, and went to meet Christ, not in Bethlehem, in the cathedral, but in Calcutta; to the poor, and from there, everywhere in the world. And her journey never stopped.

More wisdom, devotion, she shook the foundations of a wild and selfish world in which love sounded like an abstract notion.

And daily, with works of mercy, showed that the world could be governed by love and that love was the only power that could transform the world in a positive way. And she did just that.

Yes, Mother Teresa testified with many extraordinary and incomprehensible works for the human mind, that life really is love. She experienced life as love, and she gave it to the world with love, making her power radiate everywhere and whenever, even under the barrage of weapons where the hand of the power of science, money and politics could not penetrate. .

Man as a social dog is connected and coexists with important events, phenomena and characters. He is connected to universal and national figures, with whom he identifies and from whom he is inspired. This is also the case with nations, which live from these stratifications. For Albanians, Mother Teresa is a symbol of national pride, an example that the world does not have, a model that has marked time and entered eternally into the pantheon of bipolar values, Earth and Heaven. Therefore, it is a great fortune to meet the nation of a man who has marked the time, the century, and has fundamentally uprooted theories and doctrines that miserably say that the world can only be ruled by an axis of ideas, by an armed empire with power , money and power.

Mother Teresa proved the opposite that "love can save the world".

Mother Teresa was not only an educator, a nun dedicated to the poor, an extraordinary supporter and a missionary of God. She was also a poet, an extraordinary thinker, who left a legacy to the world, verses/bridges that contain an amazing philosophy of wisdom and the magic of words. Her poems such as: Life, It doesn't matter, Time, etc., are pearls, a powerful example of great art.
Every word and line of hers serves as a medicine to cure and heal human sufferings, to make them more affordable, to learn from life and at the same time to enjoy every moment.

...
Mother Teresa has an inseparable bond with the Albanians, with her authentic homeland, which she kept in her heart. She visited Kosovo several times and after the fall of communism also Albania. She prayed in the language of her mother, Drana, and prayed for the Albanian nation. She was happy when she heard that the Kosovar Albanians were extending the hand of reconciliation to each other during the reconciliation of blood.
She exalted the Albanian name in Oslo.
She exalted the Albanian name in New York.
She exalted the Albanian name in Washington.
She always and everywhere begged the presidents and leaders of the world to take care of her people, who had been caught by the evil hour.

She lived at the right time - as a guardian angel for our nation - to help it out of the black night and the evil hour.

It is worth mentioning that since the 80s, it has become part of cultural life, especially in Kosovo. Don Lush wrote for Gjergji and through him, she entered every Albanian home.

And during the 90s, when Kosovo experienced terror and was in a real ordeal, the political movement of the time led by the designer and father of Kosovo's independence, Ibrahim Rugova, found in Mother Teresa the model of inspiration, which she did it was rightly called the Teresian movement.

And on this day, I want to bring to your attention what Ibrahim Rugova said about our Nana: "The people of Kosovo and the entire Albanian people, today are proud in front of the world with Mother Teresa, with their own Mother. Mother Teresa is a guardian angel for Kosovo and for the Albanian people."

Being Albanian and universal, that is, of our land and the whole world, Mother Teresa is naturally the most prominent and sublime part of our identity and at the same time the strongest connection with the noblest universal values. This is not a boast, but only a testimony of a noble people.
Therefore, it is time to add to our table the food provided by Mother Teresa's school.
