Kate Winslet inspires young journalist: You can ask me anything

Kate Winslet gave a young journalist a huge confidence boost during her first interview by offering words of encouragement. The Hollywood actress, 47, turned a very scary moment for the teenager into a much more relaxed one as she sat down for a chat with German public broadcaster ZDF about her latest film Avatar: The Way Of Water.

When told it was the youngster's first time interviewing anyone, Kate immediately lends a guiding hand by taking a breath and insisting it will still be the 'most amazing interview ever'. The young reporter named Martha begins by telling Kate: 'This is my first time' and Kate replies:

"It's the first time you've ever done it? Guess what, when we do this interview, it's going to be the most amazing interview ever, and you know why? Because we decided it was going to be."

"So we've decided right now, me and you, that this is going to be a fantastic interview. And you can ask me anything you want, and you don't have to be afraid, everything is going to be great. Okay, let it be make!"

The touching moment was shared on social media, with users praising Kate's ability to calm the teenager in what could have been a very overwhelming task.
