Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed support for the US plan to end the war in the Gaza Strip.
The American Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, said that he was satisfied that the other side, Hamas, has accepted the plan of the American president, Joe Biden.
"I met with Prime Minister Netanyahu last night and he confirmed his commitment to this proposal," said Blinken.
On Monday, the United Nations Security Council approved a corresponding resolution presented by the United States of America, with which Hamas also agrees. Blinken called it a promising sign and said progress in efforts to reach a settlement in the Gaza Strip depended on the move.
