The Taliban's acting minister for refugees, Khalil Rahman Haqqani, was killed in an explosion in the Afghan capital, Kabul, his nephew, Anas Haqqani, said.

Khalil Haqqani was appointed minister in the Taliban interim government after the withdrawal of foreign forces from the country in 2021, Reuters reports.
