Rama blames the parents: Giving the phone to the child is like giving the

Prime Minister Edi Rama, accompanied by the Minister of Education Ogerta Manastirliu, held a meeting with parents at the "Janaq Kilica" school, trying to convince citizens that the blame for the influence of social networks on children is mainly theirs.

"The moment you give your child the phone and don't check it, it's the same as giving them a 'street for a friend'," Rama said, considering parenting as the main solution to problems that the government itself can't manage.

The prime minister chose to praise Australia, which has passed a law banning social media for children under 16, but offered no concrete plan for Albania, other than repeated accusations against families for a lack of control.

"Technology cannot solve the problem, but parents who do not intervene are to blame. Everything starts with the family," he declared, highlighting the government's responsibility to create a safe and secure system for minors.

Rama, who himself uses social media as his main platform to attack opponents and promote government propaganda, seems to have forgotten to mention the negative effects of this example on the youth. Meanwhile, parents are left without any real help from the state, while it burdens them with the burden of a global challenge.
