The deputy of the Democratic Party, Flutura Açka, spoke after leaving the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party.

In a link to Euronews Albania, Açka said that there were several factors that led him to take this decision.

"Actually, it was a long-thought-out, mature thought. Perhaps last night's developments in the Law Commission. All that happened, the brutal way the lists were closed.

Our premises to open the Parliament a little, to open the possibility of elections, to give a chance to Albanians, yesterday's decision in the Laws Commission made me understand that there is no chance to reform this opposition. I cannot pretend that I only have to be on the list of deputies of 2025. This made me take a decision on the political separation from the parliamentary group, but not from the opposition.

I will remain in the opposition, but now in a different position, there are no more wars and battles between us that have destroyed the opposition, but now I have only one opponent and he is our political opponent that I am facing ", said Açka.
