The arrest of Erion Veliaj, the first reaction from the opposition: The crime

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has commented on the arrest of the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj.

"The crime pyramid is collapsing thanks to the opposition," said Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha, as he left the DP headquarters.

Veliaj was arrested following the decision of the Criminal Court of Kosovo, and was transferred to the 'Security Block' to be officially informed of the charges.
