Berisha denounces the scandal: Erion Veliaj demolished houses because he said

Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha denounced the scandal of how the now-arrested mayor, Erion Veliaj, demolished properties and claimed they belonged to the MP also under investigation, Klotilda Bushka.

Berisha said that it was Bushka who proposed adding 500 million lek to the Tirana incinerator.

"Yes, I denounced him before he came out. I denounced him dozens of times. Do you know what this Bushka is? I'll tell you."

This was raised the previous year in parliament and, in a unique case in history, prohibited by the Constitution, it proposes adding 500 million lek to the Tirana incinerator.

However, the Constitution allows the MP to do so on the condition that he submits the amendment, approves it, or the Ministry of Finance expresses its opinion.

And the lady brought an oral amendment. I have denounced it dozens of times.

"Erion Veliaj demolished houses because he said they were Klotilda Bushka's properties. Yes, yes, all of this is documented. She is a criminal more than him. These are the ones in this parliament's final throes," Berisha declared.
