Berisha: There is only one way for Albanians to vote freely, protests and only

Chief Democrat Sali Berisha has called on citizens to stand up in protests to prevent the government from buying their votes.

From the assembly, Berisha denounced the farce of May 14 as he said that "ghost voters" were used who voted more than once or twice. Also, Berisha said that on May 14, millions of euros were distributed by Tom Doshi.

"I am here to denounce the shameful criminal electoral farce of May 14. In this farce, in addition to sending 683 thousand envelopes in flagrant violation of the country's laws and the Copenhagen Charter for free and fair elections, for the first time in the history of this country, in addition to the appointment of the head of the opposition coalition by the government, a ugly act that shows the true face of this regime, the 6 to 1 or 6 to 0 commissions as never before in the history of this country, alongside the hundreds of millions of euros distributed under the hand of Edi Rama and his assistant Tom Doshi, who distorted extreme a result, where for 40 percent of the votes, only 5 percent of power is achieved, another monstrous criminal mechanism was used to distort the election result.

Phantom voters or voters who voted more than once, twice or three times in different cities were used. There were a total of 547,000 ghost voters who voted more than once.

I denounce here in the parliament this electoral fraud, this farce to tell Albanians that there is only one way for you to vote freely, there is only one way for Edi Rama not to publicly buy the vote with your money, there is only one way that Edi Rama should not buy votes with hundreds of millions of euros, there is only one way for Edi Rama not to use phantom voters and this way is protest, protest and only protest. I am convinced that hundreds of thousands of idealists who voted for the opposition will stand up and create the opportunity to vote freely" , declared Berisha from the Assembly.
