Former President Ilir Meta reacted harshly to Prime Minister Edi Rama's statements regarding the chapter group for the European integration of Albania.

Meta qualifies this exaltation as a clear indication of the hypocrisy and irresponsibility of Rama and his "Renaissance" gang, which, according to him, has blocked the country's integration for a whole decade.

Meta recalls that Albania signed the Stabilization-Association Agreement in 2006, before Montenegro, Serbia and other countries did so, emphasizing that they opened negotiations in 2012 and 2014 and are at a much more advanced stage. despite their problems with International Courts and ethnic conflicts.
