The Constitutional Court rejects Berisha's request for the exclusion of Judge Xhaferllari from his case

The Constitutional Court rejected the request of the head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, regarding the request for the dismissal of judge Marsida Xhaferllari, with a majority of votes.

Berisha claimed that Xhaferllari was the cohabitant of Enkeljed Alibeaj, and her consideration of the case, according to him, constituted a conflict of interest. 

It is learned that the decision to reject Berisha's request was made by a majority of votes as it was rejected with the argument that it was not based on evidence.
