DASH, PD report: Confirmed that Albania has the most corrupt government,
Jorida Tabaku

The Democratic Party has reacted to the latest report of the US State Department, which raised as a concern the level of corruption, PPPs, property titles and the unfavorable climate for doing business in Albania.

Elected MP, Jorida Tabaku said that DASH confirms that Albania has the most corrupt government in Europe.

In a statement to the media from the blue headquarters, Tabaku said the country is in crisis, as the government does not respect the market economy and competition, making it less attractive to foreign investors. She also highlighted some of the report's findings.

"Albanians are governed by a state seized by an occult government that does not respect the market economy or competition. Specifically American investors!

This bitter reality is clearly and unequivocally overshadowed by the recent State Department Investment Climate Report.

All domestic and foreign investors and businesses experience in the first place corruption, lack of legal certainty, increasing government autocracy and lack of climate to do business in Albania.

- Endemic corruption that has undermined and undermines the Rule of Law and hinders sustainable economic development.

- Property rights are not fully guaranteed while the compensation process is incomplete and inefficient.

- Investors complain that there is unequal competition and monopolies created in order to hinder the free market.

While calling on the SPAK to investigate corruption, the elected MP said that Albania today is a country without law, without rules, without justice and where a minority controls the money of Albanians.
