Pink October/ Berisha: Women who are attacked by the disease are more unfortunate than in any other country
The head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, during his speech at the marathon protest at the 'Road of Hope', criticized the state of health in Albania, stressing that women affected by breast cancer were among the most unlucky. Berisha said that, due to the theft of public funds by Edi Rama's government, the medical equipment for diagnosis was lacking and damaged, while the medicines needed for treatment were often missing. He also mentioned the tragic case of the teacher Ina Kasimati, as an example of the consequences of this situation.
Berisha : Dear friends, this is the month of October. This month, around the globe, societies make efforts to increase sensitivity to a fierce enemy of the health of mothers, daughters and sisters, women in Albania and around the world.
Therefore, in this effort, the month of October is also called the pink month, which first of all aims to increase the awareness and sensitivity of mothers, women, girls, sisters for a self-control for this disease, but also the great obligation that society has towards them for created all the conditions for a diagnosis as soon as possible, a preventive diagnosis and a dignified treatment.
But unfortunately, I have to say that in Albania today, as in no other country in Europe, I rarely found mothers, sisters, daughters, wives, women who are attacked by this disease in any country in the world. more unfortunate than anywhere else.
They are unfortunate because the terrible theft of public funds perpetrated by Edi Rama and other government officials has caused the apparatus for its diagnosis to be in deficit and defective. It has caused the lack of medicines for the treatment of this type of disease with special spread among the other sex. It has caused tens and hundreds of them to be left without basic medicines, unable to take the right medicine for the stage of the disease.
He did, as everyone knows, to have the undeserved fate of the late respected teacher, Ina Kasimati.
