The head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, has condemned the attack on the Kosovo police, where one officer was killed and two others were injured.

In a reaction on Facebook, Meta condemned the attack, while emphasizing the importance of the rule of law.

"The Freedom Party condemns the criminal attack on the Kosovo Police in Leposaviq, resulting in the killing of one police officer and the wounding of another.

This serious and recurring event shows the necessity of the rule of law.

We support the Police and the authorities of Kosovo to guarantee public safety and punish the perpetrators of this criminal event", writes Meta.
