The Secretary General of the Constitutional Court, Eugen Papandile, was present at the Laws Commission where the Budget for 2025 was being discussed.

In the course of the discussions, the democratic deputy Lindita Metaliaj took the floor asking for the 'account' for the ships with refugees that Italy sends to Albania, and that less return.

Metaliaj said that Lezha has returned to a refugee camp today because of the agreement that Rama and Meloni signed.

"Today Lezha has turned into a refugee camp and not just a camp, a prison because immigrants are kept isolated. The Constitutional Court should rise to the level of the British Court which annulled the decision. It should rise to the level of the courts and at the very least it should ask for an opinion of the Venice commission and oppose it", stated Metaliaj.

But, as the democrat demanded an answer from the secretary of the Constitution, the chairperson of the commission, Klotilda Bushka, intervened, ordering Papandile not to answer the deputy, since according to her, the issue raised had nothing to do with the budget.

"Ms. Metaliaj, you have questions about the budget. This has nothing to do with the budget" , said Bushka first addressing Metaliaj and then told Papandile "you have no answer to give in this case".

The General Secretary obeyed by remaining silent and not speaking about the return of Lezha to a prison for refugees.
