The outstretched hand of the leader of the DP, Sali Berisha to the deputies who support Enkelejd Alibeaj seems to have given the first signals to the blue camp. 

The group of deputies under the leadership of Enkelejd Alibeajt expressed their readiness for cooperation within the DP in order to go united in the next local elections, which are expected to be held in the spring of 2023.

In the announcement to the media, they emphasized that the only solution to face the regime of Edi Rama is to face a joint candidate of the DP and the opposition in the elections.

For this, Alibeaj has mandated Gazment Bardhin for any possibility of cooperation and participation in local elections with a single DP candidate.

After 4 hours of meetings, Bardhi himself said that DP should enter with a common candidate in the local elections, while he emphasized that there should be no conditions or preconditions from either party in the talks.

"We will see the possibility of having a common candidate to increase the chances of winning significantly. I will talk to see what is the attitude of the colleagues that Paloka represents. I will express the position that will be held by the colleagues who mandated me for this negotiation process. We neither enter with conditions nor accept conditions" , said Bardhi. 

Shortly after Bardhi, Berisha's answer came. The chief democrat stated that he will not impose any conditions, except for the primaries, which according to him are existential for the DP.

"  I neither have conditions nor do I receive conditions. I welcome anyone who wants to run or propose, debate. Full and total opening. I cannot withdraw from the primaries, who of existence.
No one withdraws from the primaries. "No one asked to withdraw from the primaries ," said Berisha.

We recall that a few days ago, Alibeaj said that there was no chance of cooperation with Berisha, but it seems that his opinion and that of the group of deputies who support him have changed, increasing the possibility that the DP will go together in the local elections of 2023. sell
