In the midst of Saturday's developments, after the swearing in of the "Rama 3" government in front of President Ilir Meta, the luxury car with which Prime Minister Edi Rama drove attracted a lot of public attention and curiosity.

It was rumored in the media that the price of the "GMC Custom Luxury Vehicle" type car reached up to 500 thousand dollars, which immediately after the oath spoke to the new Ministers about the Code of Ethics that they must respect during this mandate.

In some media, the cost of the luxury car was rumored to be up to 500 thousand euros, but it seems that the truth is different.

Rama with the "beast" of 500 thousand dollars? Politico contacts the

Politiko.al has contacted employees of "GMC Custom Luxury Vehicle", who have confirmed that the most expensive 'full options' version of such American-made vehicles cost up to 85 thousand euros.
However, the source contacted by Politiko.al also explains that such vehicles can go up to tens of thousands of dollars depending on the accessories you can add.

But even these additions are not made by the GMC production factory, but are handmade or custom made. In this case, this car can go up to 500 thousand dollars only if additional accessories are ordered to armor it.

"One might prefer to send the vehicle to a conversion company that can do whatever it wants. If you want to personalize it, it can cost thousands of extra dollars ", declares the employee of" GMC Custom Luxury Vehicle ".

Regarding this debate, the press office of Prime Minister Rama also reacted, explaining that the car was not bought, but is owned by a private entity that sells and rents cars.

It is learned that Edlira Hoxhallari is a private entity, to which Edi Rama claims that he has rented the luxury car 'GMC'.

Hoxhallari started its activity in Maminas in 2016, initially trading spare parts for cars and selling used cars. In 2018, Hoxhallari has changed the object of activity, adding the rental of cars.

The car has two VIP seats with footrests, the seats are Italian and the veneer is made of original walnut wood. The ceiling is lighted and is all beaver skin.
