This Friday marks four years since the demolition of the historic building of the National Theater in Tirana.

Director Edmond Budina, speaking to the media, raised the question of where the Theater that was promised by the government is today.

He said that even when it is built, we will not have a National Theater. According to him, the government doesn't even care about education and culture, that's why people flee from Albania.

"With the collapse of the Theater, the violence of a mafia government was witnessed. Where is the National Theater after 4 years since it collapsed? Where is it? Even when it is built, it will not be a National Theater. Today is a day of mourning for the collapse of the theater. The Government there is no interest in culture. We don't even have a Minister of Culture. We will carry our war to the end.

Morally, we won because we showed citizenship and coherence. This is the reason why Albania is empty, because the government does not prioritize education and culture" , said Budina.
