The Special Court has left in prison the 10 people arrested as being involved in the laboratory of Fier, where 430 kilograms of cocaine were found two nights ago in the municipality of Frakull.

GJKKO reconfirms the security measures "arrest in prison" for them, including Zenel Červanaku, suspected of ordering the shipment, as well as his brother Viktor Červanaku, former mayor of Frakull municipality, Fier, who worked as a director in OST.

How did the event happen?

Prokuroria e Posaçme kundër Korrupsionit dhe Krimit të Organizuar bëri të ditur dje se sasia e kokainës e cila ishte përzier në 24 tonë pleh kimik, i sekuestruar gjatë një operacioni të zhvilluar arrinte në 430 kilogramë. Vlera e saj në treg, sipas prokurorëve shkon në 40 milion euro.

Prokuroria shpjegoi se në muajin maj 2022, ngarkesa është nisur nga Kolumbia “nëpërmjet një anije transporti, për në portin e Pireut/Greqi, dhe ka mbërritur në fillim të korrikut 2022, e prej andej me anije transporti pas 3 ditësh është dërguar në portin e Barit të Malit të Zi, dhe në territorin shqiptar është transportuar me kamion në muajin shtator 2022”.

Ngarkesa me “pleh kimik” është zhvendosur në mjedise të ndryshme, në disa qytete të vendit, për t’u grumbulluar më pas në Frakull të Madhe, në zonën e Fierit, aty ku do të bëhej dhe ndarja e kokainës. “Ne kemi sekuestruar 24 ton, ngarkesë, aq sa është futur në Shqipëri”, deklaroi prokurori Xholi. Banesa ku është gjendur droga e fshehur në thasët me pleh, I përkiste ish kreut socialist të komunës Viktor Çervanaku, aktualisht i punësuar në një nga ndërmarrjet e sistemit energjetik në Tiranë.
