7 years since the death of Sokol Olldashi, Berisha's former adviser

On the evening of November 19, seven years ago, Albanian politics and all Albanians were shocked by a tragic accident on the Tirana-Elbasan road segment, where the former Minister of Interior and Transport, then PD MP, Sokol Olldashi, lost his life.

An event which, ironically, happened exactly on the road that Olldashi as Minister of Transport had contributed to its construction.

7 years after the event, friends of the deceased have remembered him through the last moments they shared together.

Journalist Ilir Kadia, former adviser to Sali Berisha, recalls the last meeting with Olldashi in a casual cafe in Tirana.

Post:

The morning before the accident we met by chance at "Artist". We were drinking coffee with Ad Krasta when Koli appeared with cigarettes on his lips. Let's drink it out! It is not allowed here! Come on I miss you! -he told us and we left excitedly. We talked from all the conversations from "a" to "zh" for almost two hours. As if we confessed! I told Colit Churchill! That not only did he resemble him in that familiar cigar photo but even though he was clear and determined in what he did, he did.
When the news broke on television that night hell went into my room and I cried… I cried! After the funeral I went to the scene myself to be convinced of what had happened. I knew that place very well. I worked as an economist in a cooperative in the early 80's. I asked well and well! U binda! Bad luck on a Shakespearean night ...
Now, every time I go to the cemetery, I definitely go back to Koli!
I look him in the eye for a long time!
I try to get bored!
