Did you know that the book and movie "Beni walks himself" was

"Beni walks by himself" is among the films that have marked the childhood of Albanians.

The main character of the film, Ben, is actually Ben Blushi, the writer, critic and former Socialist MP. So, Ben Blushi is the reason why his father, Kiço, wrote the script of this movie.

"When I was 6 or 7 years old, he wrote this book and in a way he wrote my life for me, because I walk on my own even now ", he says on Radio Dukagjini.

When asked if he was forced by his father to become an author, Blushi says: " No, but in a way yes." Because he left me as a testament to walk on my own. But the fact that he was a writer had an impact on me."
