2 high-risk individuals arrested in Dibër

Two socially dangerous individuals, internationally wanted by Italy, have been arrested in Fushë-Krujë and Dibër.

The Rome Court has sentenced Klodian Llomi (Mazari) in 2023 to 6 years, 7 months and 2 days in prison for criminal group, drug trafficking and prostitution.

" Following the successive operations carried out by the Directorate of the Special Operational Force, within the last 12 hours, two more phases of the police operation codenamed "Operation" have been finalized, specifically: Operation 39, within which the operational forces made it possible to locate, capture and arrest, with the aim of extradition to Italy, the citizen Klodian Llomi (Mazari), 34 years old, resident of Maqellarë, Dibër. The Court of Appeals in Rome/Italy, in 2023, sentenced this citizen to 6 years, 7 months and 2 days in prison, for the criminal offenses of "Criminal organization", "Drug trafficking" and "Exploitation of prostitution", provided for by the Italian Criminal Code" , the police informed today.

Meanwhile, the Turin Court sentenced Roland Ibrahimi, alias Ali Meci, in 2024 to 4 years and 3 months in prison for criminal group, criminal organization and theft.

" While within the framework of the Operational 40 phase, the services of the Special Operational Force Directorate made it possible to locate, capture and arrest, with the aim of extradition to Italy, the citizen Roland Ibrahimi, alias Ali Meci, 40 years old, resident of Laç. The Court of Turin/Italy, in 2024, sentenced this citizen to 4 years and 3 months in prison, for the criminal offenses of "Criminal organization", "Criminal group", and "Aggravated theft", provided for by the Italian Criminal Code ", the announcement further states.

The operation continues to capture other internationally and nationally wanted persons.
