A fight happened at midnight in neighborhood no. 4 of Pogradec, where 37-year-old Olgert Vesho was stabbed by his neighbor Ilir Topçiu.

The 49-year-old man, who has previous criminal records for crimes against the person, stabbed his neighbor for a momentary conflict and was then arrested in the act by the police.

" Pogradec Police Station Services, after the notification received that in neighborhood no. 4 Pogradec, after midnight, there was a conflict between two citizens, they immediately went to the scene, to prevent the escalation of the conflict.

As a result of quick actions, the citizen was caught red-handed and arrested: IT, 49 years old, resident of Pogradec, for the criminal offense of "Deliberate serious injury". This citizen has a previous record for the criminal offenses "Domestic violence" and "Intentional minor injury".

 It is suspected that during a momentary conflict for weak motives, with the citizen OV, 37 years old, a resident of Pogradec, he injured him with a cutting tool (knife) , the police explained.

The 37-year-old injured man is receiving treatment at the Trauma Hospital in Tirana and is out of danger.

So the officers seized the knife that the 49-year-old allegedly used to injure Veshon.
