A young Albanian was found without signs of life in his apartment in Hamburg, Germany. The victim is 33-year-old Dritan Lalaj, originally from Frakulli i Fier.
The local media reports that from the preliminary investigations it is suspected that we are dealing with a suicide, an act which the young Albanian had attempted and committed several times before November 1.
According to the relatives, the 33-year-old had written a letter to his cousin two weeks ago, letting him know that he would leave this world. The motives that pushed Dritan Lalaj to this tragic act are still unknown.
The Albanian community has collected funds to enable the body to be sent to the family, which is in miserable economic conditions.
The dead body of the 33-year-old is expected to arrive in Albania in a few days, while we learn that he was the only son of the family.
His mother passed away 5 years ago, while his father, sick and without income, Gori Lalaj, remains alone.
