Ajola Xoxa is returning to Albania to enforce the GJKKO decision against her, after she was in Italy.

At the request of the Special Prosecution Office, a security measure of 'house arrest' was signed against Xoxa.

 "After carrying out investigative actions, at the request of the Special Prosecution Office on 24.01.2025, the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, with decision No. 7 Act/dated 09.02.2025, has decided:

The imposition of a coercive personal security measure of "House arrest", provided for by Article 237 of the Criminal Procedure Code, for the citizen under investigation AJOLA XOXA., as a suspect for committing the criminal offense of "Passive corruption of high-ranking state officials or local elected officials", committed in collaboration (9 times), "Laundering of the proceeds of a criminal offense or criminal activity", "Refusal to declare, failure to declare, concealment or false declaration of assets, private interests of elected persons and public servants or of any other person who has a legal obligation to declare", provided for by Articles 260 and 25, 287/2 and 257/a/2 of the Criminal Code", states the official SPAK announcement regarding the case.
