The African heat "burns" Albania, temperatures reach up to 42°C

The African heat continues its influence during Tuesday, bringing clear weather and high temperatures, where extreme values are expected in the Southern areas up to 42 degrees Celsius.

The afternoon hours bring the presence of few clouds throughout the territory of the country, where they will be more visible in the northeastern and southeastern areas, but the possibility of precipitation is almost zero. The relative humidity in the air increases significantly, causing the heat to be felt even more.

The air temperatures will increase slightly in the morning, but the midday remains with constant values, fluctuating daily values from 17°C, the lowest temperature recorded in the city of Erseka, to 42°C, the highest value along the Western Lowlands.

The wind will blow light and sometimes moderate at a speed of over 30 km/h from the permanent West direction, creating low waves on the sea coast.
