Searches at Veliaj's apartment, SPAK issues official notice

The Special Prosecution Office has issued a notice following the searches at the apartment of Mayor Erion Veliaj.

SPAK announces that the checks were carried out as part of an investigation that is still in the preliminary phase. SPAK says that for this reason it cannot provide any data.

"The Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime informs that several investigative actions have been taken within the framework of a criminal proceeding.

As the investigation is still in its preliminary stages, we cannot release any further data or information at this time.

"Thank you for your understanding ," SPAK said in a statement.
