The Dutch Prime Minister: Rama and I almost got physical at the Sofia summit
The Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Mark Rutte, has narrated the behind-the-scenes of the Sofia summit, where he almost got physical with his Albanian counterpart, Edi Rama.
Among other things, he highlighted one of the problems that our country is suffering today, which are the vacancies in the judiciary.
" I remember the Western Balkans summit in Sofia, where we almost got physical with each other. But even then, we kept the membership issues behind us. However, Albania has been working on these issues.
We had cooperation. There is a problem of vacancies for judges in Albania, after the system has been cleaned, but in the meantime these vacancies must be filled. People need to be educated. We have not reached our maximum, but they are not perfect in the Netherlands either ," said Rutte.
