The criminal group with Albanians in Spain is dismantled, robbery in pharmacies

A joint operation between the Civil Guard and the National Police in Spain has led to the dismantling of a criminal group specializing in robbing pharmacies and banks. This group is accused of over 40 thefts in the provinces of Alicante, Murcia and Valencia, mainly targeting cash registers and safes.

After a months-long investigation, the authorities carried out seven searches of apartments in the cities of Orihuela, Torrevieja, Benidorm, Villajoyosa and Denia, arresting six members of the organization. During the checks, 7,000 euros in cash, an empty pistol, clothing used during the robberies, lock-breaking devices, headlights with GPS trackers, an OBD device for cloning vehicle keys, an Italian Police tactical vest and five vehicles used in crimes were seized.

The arrested, of Albanian, Kosovar and Bulgarian nationality, had long criminal records in Spain. One of them had a ban on entering the country, while another was convicted of murder in Ukraine.

This operation underlines the commitment of the Spanish authorities in the fight against organized crime and ensuring public safety.
