Former persecuted Simon Miraka has joined the table of activists and civil society of the Front for the Salvation of Albania, where the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, is also present.

During his speech, Miraka said that people see Berisha as the Messiah, while the cause he proposes for the July 7 protest is freedom and homeland.

" I'm glad people see you as the Messiah. I mean December 11th, people seemed to be getting sunlight.

For the 7th, I belong to a stratum that has fought for 45 years for freedom and thank God here we are. Our cause was freedom and homeland.

The oilmen came on foot and no one supported them. Will we get out of this situation? There are plenty of arguments and what sucks people is the economic aspect that makes them leave the country. "On July 7, people should ask themselves, will we live here or will we choose exile" , said Miraka.
