Falling rocks block several roads in Kukës, causing difficulties in vehicle

Due to bad weather, there have been falls of rocks and debris on the national axes of the Kukes region.

This has blocked the movement of vehicles on several axes. Meanwhile, the entire Kukës region continues to be supplied with electricity normally.

"The situation in the Kukës Region until 08:00 on 07.12.2024 is as follows: The entire territory of the Kukës Region during the night until the early hours of the morning is covered by moderate rainfall and snowfall at an altitude above 800 m.

As a result of these weather conditions, all national road axes continue to be under the pressure of falling stones, inert materials and snow, creating difficulties in the normal circulation of vehicles on some road segments.

The contracting entities have been working at all times with all capacities to maintain their functionality. Currently, all national road axes are normally trafficable.

We have no reports of any emergency problems from the municipalities of Kukës, Tropoja and Has.

The entire Kukës Region is normally supplied with electricity, except for the villages of Dragobi, Valbonë, Nj Adm Margegaj, Tropojë Municipality. Nj Adm, Kolsh and Surroj, Kukës Municipality.

"The supply of drinking water is carried out according to the schedules set by DRUK Kukës ," the announcement states.
