Quarrel with knives between neighbors, three people injured in Dimal, police

Three people were injured with knives and scythes in Dimal. For this incident, the police say they have handcuffed two people, Bastri and Emiljano Xhalili, father and son, after they injured their neighbors.

According to the police, the incident happened yesterday afternoon in the village of Goriçan, while father and son are accused of attempted murder and production and possession of cold weapons without a permit.

The services of the Berat Police Station, after receiving the notification that a conflict between some citizens was taking place in the village of Goriçan, Dimal, yesterday afternoon, immediately went to the scene to prevent the conflict from escalating. As a result of quick actions, the following citizens were caught red-handed and arrested:

B.XH., 65 years old (previously convicted) and E. Xh., 24 years old, (father and son), both residents of the village of Goriçan, Dimal, for the criminal offense of "Intentional murder, pending attempt" , in cooperation" and "Unauthorized production, possession, purchase or sale of cold weapons"

These citizens are suspected that yesterday afternoon, they went with cutting tools (knife and scythe) to the residence of citizen S. Xh., and after having a conflict, they injured citizen S. Xh. with cutting tools (knife and scythe). 49 years old, J. Xh., 24 years old (father and son) and E. Xh., 18 years old, (their relative, who was in the apartment of citizen S. Xh, when the conflict occurred). The injured received treatment at the Berat Regional Hospital, out of danger to life.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the Berat General Jurisdiction, for further actions.
