Fight between teenagers in Saranda, 15-year-old injured, perpetrator identified

A fight broke out between teenagers in Saranda, resulting in the injury of a 15-year-old.

The injured person was taken to hospital, out of danger. A 12-year-old boy was taken to the police station for the incident.

 "Today, at noon, on "Adem Sheme" street, neighborhood no. 2, it is suspected that during a conflict for weak motives, a 15-year-old was hit in the shoulder with a cutting tool by a peer. The injured person was transported to the hospital for medical assistance and is out of danger for his life.

Thanks to quick actions and immediate response, the services of the Saranda Police Commissariat made it possible to identify the suspected perpetrator of the incident, the minor citizen MM, 12 years old, who was accompanied to the Commissariat for further procedural actions.

During further actions related to the incident, the cutting tool suspected of being used during the conflict was found and seized as material evidence.

"The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, continues investigative actions to clarify the circumstances and full dynamics of the incident ," the police announced.
