Albania opens the first group chapter of the negotiations, Begaj: Now we have

President Bajram Begaj reacted after Albania opened the first chapter of negotiations with the European Union.

In a post on Facebook, Begaj writes that it is now in the hands of the country to keep pace with this journey.

"The news that Albania opens the chapter of fundamental reforms of the negotiations for full membership in the EU fills every Albanian with hope in the realization of the long-standing dream "We love Albania like all of Europe".

Now we are in control of the pace of this journey.

I am full of hope for progress and success!" , writes Begaj.
