SPAK against the release of Alqi Bllakos: We will appeal to the Appeal

The Special Prosecutor's Office Against Corruption and Organized Crime has opposed the release of former socialist MP Alqi Blako.

In a reaction to the media, SPAK warns that it will appeal the case to the Special Court of Appeal.

"We have been against his release in court because the conditions to release him do not exist. We will appeal to the Special Court of Appeal." , says SPAK's response to News 24.

For the former socialist deputy, the Special Court of Appeal replaced the security measure, from "prison arrest" to "house arrest".

In March of this year, SPAK asked the Assembly for authorization to arrest the former deputy, as he was accused of abuse of office and corruption as involved in the incinerator affair.

In the full letter of SPAK, it was stated that "Blako, former Secretary of the Ministry of Environment, in cooperation with other persons, committed illegal actions".

SPAK points out that Alqi Blako favored the concessionary company "Integrated Technology Waste Treatment", against the acceptance of an irregular benefit, in the amount of 14,964,900.
