They terrorized the residents by shooting, two arrested in Lezhë

They shot in the air with a sport pistol with maneuver cartridges, terrorizing the residents and then left, the timely intervention of the services of the Lezhë Police Station led to the handcuffing of two citizens and the proceeding of another in a free state.

The police found and confiscated the sports pistol used, which had a maneuver cartridge in the magazine, as well as the vehicle in which these citizens were moving.

The services of the Lezhë Police Commissariat, after a call received at the Operation Room of the DVP Lezhë from the residents, that there were gunshots in the "Skënderbeg" neighborhood, immediately went to the given address.

Through quick verifications and cooperation with the citizens, it became possible to identify, catch and arrest in flagrante delicto the citizens: EB, 32 years old, and PN, 24 years old, residents of the "Skënderbeg" district, for the criminal offenses of "Production and possession of permit for hunting and sporting weapons" and "Disturbance of public peace."

In addition, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceedings began in a free state for the owner of the vehicle, citizen EG, 28 years old, resident of the "Skënderbeg" neighborhood.

The two arrested citizens are suspected of having taken the vehicle of citizen EG and from the vehicle they shot in the air with a sports pistol with maneuver cartridges, disrupting the public peace and terrorizing the residents.

As material evidence, 6 cartridges found at the scene were seized.

The procedural materials in charge of these citizens will be transferred to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Lezhë for further actions.
