Football player Christian Atsu has been rescued from the ruins of the powerful earthquake that hit Turkey. The news has been confirmed by the Ghana Football Association.
"We have received some positive news that Christian Atsu has been successfully rescued from the rubble of the collapsed building and is receiving treatment. Let's continue to pray for Christian ," the Ghana Football Association tweeted on Tuesday.
It was reported on Tuesday that Atsu - who currently plays for Turkish team Hatayspor - had been found in the southern province of Hatay.
