During the month of October, the State Police, through the implementation of the measures plans, guaranteed the success of the visit of the President of Turkey to Tirana, the Tirana Marathon, as well as several gatherings.

As a result of the operations and daily work of the Police, 640 kg of cannabis, about 1 kg of cocaine, dozens of doses of cocaine and cannabis, quantities of cannabis seeds, various equipment for cultivation and processing of narcotics were seized.
During the operations, 24 firearms, 6 shotguns, combat ammunition, dozens of cold weapons, vehicles and mobile phones, smuggled goods and assets worth 750,000 euros were seized.
Thanks to the immediate intervention of the Police services, 3 potential criminal events in the family and the escalation of 5 instant conflicts, for weak and property motives, have been prevented.
The professional intervention of the Police services, based on police intelligence, led to the arrest of 5 citizens who were walking around armed with firearms.
As a result of the professional investigative actions, 2 cases of theft of money in a market and in a vehicle (taxi), an attempted murder in Elbasan and an accident resulting in death in Korça were revealed.
In the field of narcotics, 25 operations were carried out, during which closed premises adapted to the cultivation of narcotic plants, their drying and the preparation of narcotic substances for sale were discovered. Also, groups that carried out the criminal activity of selling cocaine and cannabis, in various premises and premises, were hit.
12 operations have been finalized to combat criminal activity in the field of economic and financial crimes.
To crack down on the criminal activity of transporting immigrants, against payments to illegally cross the border to EU countries, 3 operations have been completed.

As a result of the checks:
173 drivers were arrested, of which 97 for driving while intoxicated and 76 for driving without a driving license.
As a result of traffic monitoring with intelligent speedometers, 3,600 administrative measures have been imposed for speeding over the permitted rates, which have the additional measure of suspending the driving license and deducting points from the driving license.
Also, 60 driving licenses were suspended for driving under the influence of alcoholic beverages and 287 for other violations of the Traffic Code.
