Diaspora vote/ Around 33 thousand people apply, Albanians from Italy and Greece

Today marked the passing of one week since the launch of applications for voter registration for Albanians living abroad.

According to data published on the official website of the Central Election Commission, the number of applications has reached 32,910, of which 18,698 applications have been reviewed.

Of these, only 11,847 were approved, meaning 6,851 of them were rejected.

We remind you that persons whose application has been rejected have the right to reapply until the deadline, March 4th.

So far, the greatest interest in voting from abroad has been shown by Albanians living in Italy, who account for more than 30% of applications, followed by Greece, Germany, the USA and the UK.

Meanwhile, the age group most interested in voting is 26-35 years old, followed by 36-45 years old, while the age group with the fewest applications is 18 to 25 years old.
