A powerful explosion was recorded at midnight in the "Bosnian Quarter" in the north of Mitrovica.

The news was confirmed for the Kosovo media by the deputy director of the Kosovo Police for the North of Mitrovica, Veton Elshani. "After the specialized team went to the scene, it is suspected that we are dealing with the explosion of the M75 hand grenade", announced Elshani.

The explosion happened last night around midnight, and apart from the damage to a vehicle, no injuries were reported. The police are at the scene of the incident, which is continuing the investigation to identify the author/s.
