The chief diplomat of Kosovo criticizes Rama: He often becomes Vucic's

Kosovo's chief diplomat Donika Gërvalla - Schëartz has criticized the approaches of Prime Minister Edi Rama in relation to Serbia.

In an interview for the Voice of America, she said that Rama often becomes Vucic's main lawyer in various international countries, helping him not to become part of the common policy of the EU and the US in relation to Russia's war in Ukraine.

"It is true that we have divergences regarding the "open Balkans". We also have divergences in relation to how the prime minister, often without any need, becomes the main advocate of (Aleksandar) Vučić in various countries and international media, helping Vučić not to become part of the common policy of the EU and the USA in relation to Russia's war in Ukraine.

But, to be very honest, I think that never before have the concrete agreements we have with Albania been implemented with such speed as until now and they have not been more in the sense of serving the citizens on both sides of the border, both in Albania and in Kosovo", said Donika Gërvalla - Schëartz, who was asked if there is a coordination between the government of Kosovo and Tirana on the initiative taken by Albania to reject the report of the envoy of this Council, Dick Martyt, who is at the foundation of the Special Court of Kosovo with headquarters in The Hague.

"No, there was no coordination regarding this matter, but you must understand that I do not comment on the actions of the Albanian government. I comment on our mutual relations which are rarely good in many areas ", she said.
