Lavrov supports "Open Balkan", Kosovo: Does it mean that whoever

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told Russian media yesterday that his visit to Serbia would coincide with the support he would declare for the initiative of the three Western Balkan countries, 'Open Balkan'.

Regarding Lavrov's statement, Kosovo also reacted. The head of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Assembly of Kosovo, Haki Abazi, said that the statement of the Russian minister means that anyone who supports 'Open Balkan', also supports the destruction of Ukraine.

"When Lavrov concretely supports 'Open Balkan', while openly destroying Ukraine, does this mean that anyone who supports Open Balkan is also supporting the destruction of Ukraine! "And what exactly is the Open Balkans?" Abazi wrote.

None of the three states participating in the initiative has commented. With the exception of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, who has close relations with Russia, neither Prime Minister Edi Rama nor Macedonian Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski have commented on Lavrov's statement.

While today is held the Summit of "Open Balkan" in Ohrid, which will be attended by representatives from Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina, although both countries stated from the beginning that they will not join the initiative.

Kosovo has stated that as long as Serbia is part of it they will stay away.
